The cost of any bespoke work depends on many factors such as the materials used and the amount of effort involved. Hence, we cannot present you with a definitive cost for your specific requirements here - we will always need to assess each job individually and discuss the options available.

This is a key service from The Full Picture - we use computer software to show you in advance what your picture would look like in as many settings as you wish to see - single, double or even triple mounted in whatever colours and border widths you choose. Gold, natural or coloured wood for the frame itself, narrow or wide mouldings - the choice is all yours.

We CAN give you some idea of cost for a number of specific pieces of work. Take a look at the examples presented below but remember that your work is unique and we cannot show the full range of what we can do in The Full Picture workshop.

All images are reproduced with the customer's permission and are copyright - please respect this and do not reproduce them.

Examples

Reebok
This image was presented as a Photoshop file which the customer had already prepared and printed out on an A3+ sheet of Canon Photo Pro Inkjet paper. We presented a number of framing options via EMail and the customer chose the one shown here. Final frame size was 540mm wide and 360mm tall backed and sealed using K2 conservation quality board and glazed using standard 2mm float glass. Total price : £35-50

Family History
Two old photographs, one about 30mm x 65mm, the other 85mm x 60mm, creased and discoloured. The customer wanted each framed in similar colours for display together on the same wall. In addition, the images were required to be enlarged to about twice their original size. The pair of framed images is shown here. Both were double mounted using scarlet for the foreground mount, champagne for the inner mount with an overall border of 50mm for each photograph. The Full Picture carried out the image enhancement, printing, mounting and framing. The final frame sizes were 190mm x 275mm and 260mm x 215mm. As with the Reebok image, conservation K2 backing board was used along with 2mm float glass. Total price for both images together : £50

Papyrus
Full detail of how this image was produced and of what options were presented to the customer can be found in the description of The Full Picture "Choose at Home" service which you can find on the Products and Services page. The image presented here does not fully do justice to the final framed work however - by using a float mounted technique, it was possible to maintain a 3-D view of the papyrus sheet in order to retain the ripples and waves in the original material. This frame finished at 600mm X 540mm and with a cost to the customer of £65
