A couple of days - mainly nights - in Tromsø, January 2018

Our first winter trip in 2018, two days and three nights, took us to Tromsø in Norway which is situated at a latitude of 70 degrees North, well inside the Arctic Circle. When the sun rises at around 11:30am and sets an hour or so later, there is not a lot of time for daylight photography which is why the vast majority of the pictures in this gallery were taken on a tripod - and in the dark.
